Tropical Luau Cake

Tropical Aloha Luau Cake with hibiscus, plumeria, pineapples, and a pink flamingo.  It is so bright and happy!

    1. Hi, Thanks, I'm glad you like the cake. All the decorations on the cake are hand made out of fondant and gum paste. I cut the letters on the cake drum out of glitter card board using my Cricut cutter.

    3. Hi, Thanks! For the letters I made fondant cutters using my 3D printer. The font is called Billion Dreams.

  2. I want to make one for my mom's it hard to use fondant?

    1. Hi, It is not hard to use fondant. It just takes a little practice. The gum paste flower take a little more effort, but again the more you practice, the easier it gets.

  3. What size are these layers?

    1. I think it was a 9" and 7" and each cake is around 4-1/2 to 5" tall.

  4. How many layers of cake is this for each tier?

    1. Hi, Most of my cakes have 3 layers and each tier ends up being 4-1/2 - 5" tall.
